As a Hardware System Designer, you’ll take the lead in developing, building, and validating hardware for our advanced systems. Collaborating closely with our in-house team and development partners, you’ll ensure our systems meet the highest performance standards and push the boundaries of innovation. Here’s how you’ll contribute:

  • Own the hardware: Take full responsibility for the hardware design, build, and performance of our next-generation systems.

  • Raise the bar: Improve our new systems towards optimal performance through hands-on development, testing, and iteration.
  • Report with impact: Identify and report improvements based on your own findings and input from your team.
  • Ensure compliance: Apply your knowledge of CE and other regulatory requirements to help us meet the highest standards
  • Test thoroughly: Execute FAT/SAT, quality checks, and full system validation — all clearly documented.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to shared results as we bring our innovations to life

We’re looking for an experienced engineer with a proven ability to develop high-end systems in a high-tech environment:

  • Technical skills:
    • Proficient in reading and modifying mechanical CAD designs.
    • Ability to read and understand electrical CAD drawings.
    • Familiarity with PLC software and hands-on skills in cable assembly and mechanical adjustments.
  • Mindset: A proactive team player with excellent communication skills, customer focus, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Languages: Strong proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus.
